Weekend Planetary Energy Report for April 28 – 29, 2018

Saturday

As a follow up to the powerful Mars-Pluto connection, which was exact on Thursday, the Libra Moon takes up the cause, confronting the duo on Saturday and re-activating the intensive, no-holds-barred energy from an emotional perspective. Ironically, the outcome will seem more balanced, though, and modulated to smooth over rough edges.

Furthermore, a keen interest in understanding relationships and how we interact with one another is of particular interest when Mercury forms a peace-loving minor connection to Pluto.

Sunday

Responsibilities feel less burdensome when the Sun makes a fortunate aspect to Saturn on Sunday. Work flows easily and seemingly without effort.

But Venus uncomfortable with Pluto may generate obsessive tendencies, especially in what we are attracted to or how we spend our money. Moreover, the Moon’s move to Scorpio at 3:11 a.m. ET bonds us to the object of our attention, allowing us to get lost in our focus.

The Moon making an easy connection to Saturn helps to ground us, though, and encourages a contemplative mood. The Full Moon in Scorpio at 8:58 p.m. ET, continues to hone our focus as our activities of the last couple weeks culminate and bring our efforts to a head.

Our spirituality comes into focus when the Sun forms a disciplined minor connection to Neptune. Find inspiration through meditative work or ritual, and thereby, tap into the symbolic meaning of our lives.

Exercise creativity and see the underlying patterns and structures that make a design work while Venus and Saturn meet in a playful alignment. Consider applying a keen eye to writing or communicating in an artistic style, especially as the Libra Moon aligns with Venus, Jupiter, Saturn and Mercury throughout the day. Our desire to clarify our message is strong, and we feel we have the tools available to do so.

Compulsive energy can drive us to our limits…

Compulsive and intense energy drives us to our limits when Mars meets Pluto. We may work ourselves to near exhaustion in order to accomplish what we set out to do.

Moreover, Venus also involved with Mars and Pluto in an unstable alignment signals passionate or possibly fanatical pursuits, especially in matters of the heart or money. Obsessive behavior is possible.

The Sun and Virgo Moon position seeks perfection and to refine what we’ve developed before we reach the Full Moon on Sunday. This desire adds to the dramatic pattern.

But the energy settles by evening when the Moon moves to Libra and is balanced by the scales. We can strike a chord of harmony, and the ability to see from another person’s point of view becomes a priority now.

It feels like the right time to make a decision when Mercury confronts Saturn for the third time. Our thinking is sharp and we may now have enough information to resolve an issue. The Virgo Moon fortunately connecting to Saturn feeds our sense of responsibility and reinforces our ability to come to the right conclusion. Moreover, our confidence is buoyed when the Sun and Moon share the same lucky aspect.

Matters of the heart or attraction to beauty could take a wild turn, though, when Venus is unstable with Uranus, and Mars is also similarly aligned with Uranus. A strong undertone of excitement vibrates though the cosmos. Art, music or other stimuli that encourages a liberating spirit is featured.

By evening the Moon’s opposition to Neptune encourages us to connect to our ideal and what makes our lives meaningful.

Be open to new opportunities. Circumstances encourage us to walk through new doors in search of something bigger and better when Mars connects easily to Jupiter.

Practice and patience brings out the hidden gem from within. Refine our process and technique to reveal what we can be.

With the Moon moving to Virgo at 4:40 p.m. ET, our attention shifts to our immediate surroundings. Tidy up our environment to visually clear the decks and get our emotions in order. And with Venus visiting the sign of Gemini for a few weeks, we may find thoughts and clever ideas more attractive and appealing.

Our taste run toward classic art and beauty. Tap into formalized lines of communication. We’re looking for refinement when Mercury forms a disciplined minor connection to Venus.

But the Sun and Jupiter in an unstable alignment tell another story. Big, bold responses are likely. Yet outgoing behavior and self-expression will seek filters that fit a specific framework.

Attempt to emotionally align ourselves to what’s clear and precise when the Leo Moon makes a fortunate connection to Mercury, but the Moon in an uncomfortable aspect to Saturn, may lead to answer but not without effort. Take time to reflect.

We may be feeling more emotional than usual while the Cancer Moon connects to six planets throughout the course of the day.

An early morning opposition to Saturn prompts us to seek solitude. Reflect on the past and consider future steps. The Moon’s alignment to Venus, and later, Neptune signals a time to lose ourselves in dreams and a romantic vision of our future.

But later into the evening we have a burst of energy and a desire to accomplish much, or blow off some steam when the Moon opposes Mars and Pluto and makes a fortunate connection to Jupiter. Enjoy active involvement in events, and work or play with heart and soul.

A fresh and youthful energy is generated by the Cancer Moon’s easy connection to Venus and confrontation with Uranus this morning. The Moon moving to Leo at 1:09 p.m. ET, compounds the enthusiasm encouraging a party feeling.

There is a serious side to our Sunday, though, when a disciplined connection is formed between the Sun and Mars. Apply increased stamina to projects that have lingered or in the past have seemed too tedious to tackle.

Moreover, the first quarter Sun-Moon connection anchors our life force and digs in our heels. Concentrate energy on growth and ways to increase our presence now.

Slow moving Pluto begins it’s retrograde motion and continues in this state until the end of September. Look for compulsive behavior or intense feeling to revisit recent places, with similar reactions. Try to understand the source of the matter in order to resolve issues. We will pass the same ground when Pluto goes direct again.

Our hopes and dreams are the focus of our attention when the Sun spending its first full day in Taurus mildly challenges Neptune. Lack of patience for dull and uninspired activities or life style may lead us to ponder more fulfilling paths. And morning excitement adds emotional fuel to the fire when the Moon makes an easy connection to Uranus.

But the Moon’s move to Cancer at 10:26 a.m. ET, encourages us to stick close to home. Maintaining an insular environment that allows us to be ourselves is a priority now. Withdraw and find comfort in what’s familiar and with those nearest and dearest.

Feeling awkward possible…

Feeling awkward, out of place, or as if our foundation is shifting beneath our feet is possible when a number of uncomfortable connections are formed throughout the day.

Venus and Mercury in a stressed alignment with Saturn and Jupiter, respectively, indicate a likelihood of discomfort with plans or inability to put thoughts into a cohesive and harmonious format. Watch for missteps.

In addition, the Gemini Moon making uncomfortable connections to Mars, Jupiter and Pluto throughout the late afternoon and evening generates a yearning to reach something grand and bigger than our current lifestyle, but the possibility exists that our striving may not live up to expectations.

Regardless, we continue to forge ahead and believe in our purpose. Once the Sun transitions from Aries to Taurus at 11:12 p.m. ET, we stabilize and regain our foothold. A grounded and steadfast energy is produced. Moreover, the Sun-Moon position indicates a surge of energy toward survival.  Reach up and find the light.
