Venus moves to Cancer at 9:10 a.m. ET for the next month marking an increase in sentimental feelings and a need for emotional support. We feel the desire to cherish those we love and deepen caring bonds.

Moreover a childlike sense of wonder washes over us when the Sun forms a playful minor connection to Neptune. We’re in awe of life and see the magic in daily activities.
We strive to reach our dreams when Mars mildly confronts Neptune, and muster the energy to refocus our attention on what we truly want from our lives. Furthermore, we’re excited about our prospects, and a good sense of rhythm and timing injects excitement into our step.

The Moon moves to Leo at 7:10 p.m. ET, generating warm and generous feelings. A desire to be the life of the party increases.

It’s possible to go overboard as we try to experience something real while Venus forms uncomfortable connections to both Mars and Jupiter. Moreover, the Leo Moon also in a stressful alignment with Saturn may add to missteps during morning hours. We may meet people or travel in circles different than those we are used to. Don’t be fooled by impostors, though.

Nevertheless, take time to plan future moves while retrograde Jupiter reconnects in a disciplined fashion with Saturn. We can use some downtime to review plans that we’ve considered.

A pleasant and fortunate grand trine among the Cancer Moon with Jupiter and Neptune builds throughout the day generating a desire to seek new horizons and connect to what we find exotic or far-reaching. We may be on a quest for something new or exciting in our lives!

Morning hours spent in meditative practice may provide insight into matters that require application of critical thinking. We’re better able to identify important points in a discussion and apply abstract concepts to problem solving while Mercury forms a disciplined minor connection to Neptune and makes a fortunate aspect to Saturn. Look for other-worldly signs and signals to guide our path.

The Sun-Moon position encourages us to strive for a breakthrough and let go of that which is holding us back. Continue to make headway toward projects that we want to get off the ground.

Dynamic bonds loosening…

Daily Planetary Energy Report for May 17, 2018

5.17.18 Chart WheelAlthough we continue to feel the dynamic energy from yesterday’s exact confrontational aspect between Mars and Uranus, the bonds are loosening, and thoughtful, playful emotional responses can alleviate some tension as the Gemini Moon connects in one way or another to six planets before transitioning to Cancer early this evening.

The Moon meeting with Venus this afternoon generates a desire to connect to traditions that have meaning to us. We seek to align ourselves with rituals or styles that signify a group with whom we identify. Later an easy pairing with Uranus generates pleasant surprises. But the Moon making an awkward connection to Mars may cause us to work harder than we need to.

We feel more settled now than we have in the last few days when the Moon moves to Cancer at 5:47 p.m. ET. The insular shell of home and those nearest and dearest helps us recharge.

Tremors continue to reverberate as change feels like a constant. Mars moves to Aquarius this morning. Our work with groups or organizations can realize best results now that we see how the moving parts fit. We may be more apt to try unconventional methods.

But Mars confronting Uranus can start us off on a rocky path. Restless and dynamic energy may turn to impatience. Impulsive behavior may be a challenge to control. If possible, channel excess and possibly disruptive energy into physical activity to blow off some steam. On the positive side, we are more apt to take challenges head on.

The Gemini Moon finds itself in stressful aspects throughout the day, possibly adding to our discomfort. Find time during morning hours to get to the core of the matter as the Moon gets involved with Pluto and Saturn.

By evening, though the Moon involved with the Uranus and Mars square may exacerbate restless energy. A confrontation between the Moon and Neptune will encourage us to idealize a situation, and later, the Moon and Jupiter may find that big and welcoming behavior misses the mark.

We can find one bright spot in a stabilizing minor aspect between Mercury and Venus which generates an appetite for refined communication. Lean on our taste for dignified art or style, and look for opportunities to present a smart approach or demeanor in our interaction with one another.

5.15.18 Chart WheelThe New Moon in Taurus occurs at 7:47 a.m. ET laying the groundwork for the changes ahead and preparing us emotionally to welcome a new and fresh approach. Begin exciting projects now for best results!

We feel a new current blow in when Uranus moves to Taurus where it will travel for the next seven-plus years. Especially noteworthy and interesting to watch will be how our earth is impacted by Uranian energy that is considered to be somewhat destabilizing. The natural process of unfolding may be shaken up and accelerated now.

The Moon making a fortunate connection to Mars this afternoon will help us adjust to our new surroundings, encouraging us to take on challenges and enjoy rigorous battles. A short time later the Moon moves to Gemini, helping us connect the dots and understand what the new puzzle looks like.
Mars transitioning to Aquarius shortly after midnight Wednesday morning generates energy devoted to working within an organizational framework.

Changes are in the air…

Daily Planetary Energy Report for May 14, 2018

5.14.18 Chart WheelMercury spends its first full day in Taurus and for the next month helps us find our mental footing while we navigate through change. Our minds feel calmer and more grounded and we are better able to take time to think through options.

Mercury also mildly confronts Neptune, prompting us to relax into the poetry of life. We may feel better equipt to chill our mind and meditate on relaxing thoughts. But Mercury is also a bit erratic with Jupiter and we ponder new philosophies and approaches. The Taurus Moon pleasantly aligned with Neptune adds to our emotional lightness, and an opposition toward Jupiter later enlarges our presence.

The Sun forms a somewhat anxious connection to Saturn, though, possibly generating feelings that our hard work may not pay off. But Mars involved in a creative minor connection to Jupiter gives us the confidence we need to carry on and work toward our goals. We decide to enjoy playing the game regardless of its outcome.

But big changes are in the air when slow-moving Uranus makes a move tomorrow, leaving Aries and setting up house in Taurus! And Mars moves too.

Weekend Planetary Energy Report for May 12 – 13, 2018

A deeper and rhythmic tone is set on Saturday when Venus forms a stressful connection to Pluto. Compulsive tenancies with regard to our interest in love, romance or money are triggered. Furthermore, minor connections between Venus with Uranus and Saturn fan our need for tantric practice or approaches, and gravitation to that which is unusual.

Mercury facing off with Mars encourages us to learn new things, or research new ideas. We may become engrossed in ideas or points of view that are off the radar while Mercury connects to Pluto in a minor aspect and nears a meeting with Uranus.

The Sun also involved on a supernatural level with Neptune, generates unusual inspirations and dreams.

Sparks are generated on Sunday when Mercury and the Moon meet Uranus, and Mercury’s confrontation with Mars can still be felt. Quick responses and fast connecting ideas are likely, but under certain circumstances, this combination may lay the groundwork for flying off the handle and arguments. Alternately, the planetary patterns could suggest witty repartee and new ideas that come to us in a flash.

Find a creative outlet for energy, especially prompted by a playful minor aspect between Venus and Mars. Apply energy to new artistic design or works.

The Moon moves to earthy Taurus and confronts Mars midday, so the ability to devote energy to projects seems effortless. A mild confrontation with Neptune later in the day may prompt us to get lost in our dreams and idealized version of reality.

We are once again moved to follow our instincts. Taking action based on core convictions is more likely than seeking a sign from outside ourselves, though, when the Sun makes a fortunate aspect to Pluto.

The Moon blasts into Aries at 8:40 a.m. ET prompting us to move forward and go our own way. An easy connection to Mars adds steam to our engine powering us onward.

But this last stage of the Sun-Moon cycle before next week’s New Moon asks us to take time to go within and ponder what’s working and what’s not. Use this time of transition to ruminate and allow stillness to help us with decisions.

A need to follow instincts and beliefs, and trust that our intuition will lead us in the desired direction is strong when the Sun forms an erratic minor connection to Saturn.

The Pisces Moon meeting with Neptune this morning bonds us to the myth and magic we seek in our lives, and encourages us to follow our dream. Adhere to traditions that comfort us and help us feel centered. Other Moon aspects encourage us to be comfortable in our own skin and to welcome others into our circle.

We may feel out of step with attempts to enjoy a rich and expansive lifestyle when Venus makes an uncomfortable connection to Jupiter. A tendency to overdo a good thing is possible, or we may find ourselves shopping for things we don’t need, only to return items later.

Instead, use time to work with groups to serve one another when Venus also forms a community-based connection to Saturn. A sincere interest in the plight of the underdog moves us.

The Pisces Moon makes an easy aspect to Saturn furthering this theme, and later when the Moon mildly challenges Mercury and Mars, we can focus on the tasks before us.
