Moreover, Mercury confronting Uranus encourages us to entertain sudden flashes of insight. Our ability to grasp new concepts accelerates but we may become impatient if information does not flow quickly enough.

The Sun forming a stressful connection to Mars may add to our need to accomplish something tangible, and the Aquarius Moon squaring Mars supports hard work and robust energy.

On Friday…

Mercury moves into Leo until September, which includes a retrograde period in July. The messenger is not exactly comfortable in this placement, but nevertheless, we may find it easier to tell a good story and put on a show while we’re at it. There may be times we need to tone down self-expression in order to hear another side of the story.

But Mercury joining Jupiter and Saturn in disciplined connections encourages a steady train of thought, at least. Use our mental energy to plan and map out a bold new strategy. We can still maintain enthusiasm for our ideas while Mercury forms a stressful connection to Neptune, even though our fervor may feel misplaced.

An early morning meeting between the Capricorn Moon and Pluto could generate intense emotional release. We are prone to compulsive feelings, possibly overreacting.

The Full Moon occurs in Capricorn just after midnight this morning combining the energy of the Sun’s opposition to Saturn, generating a compounded effect to bring unresolved matters to a head. Now would be an optimal time to decide on a lingering issue.

We may find ourselves compulsively pursuing a line of thought that drives us to accomplish. A feeling that we must be in forward motion compells us onward.

Later when the Moon forms easy connections to both Jupiter and Neptune, we can better see and intuitively understand our need to seek a new horizon.

The Moon moves to Capricorn at 11:52 a.m. ET encouraging us to step back and see the world objectively. It’s easier now to understand and view circumstances from a distance. Moreover, the Sun opposing Saturn adds to our ability to see clearly. Strip away superfluous matter from our surroundings and get to the core of the issue.

Furthermore, the Moon meeting Saturn at 11:34 p.m. ET and the Full Moon just after midnight on Thursday morning will help us bring closure to a lingering matter.

Mars begins its retrograde period this afternoon, encouraging us to review our methods toward achieving our goals. Some fancy footwork may be in order if roadblocks appear. We may decide to recalculate our course and review how to get to our destination via an alternate route.

Nevertheless a need to connect to one another on a deep and meaningful level seems more important now. An interest in controlled rhythms in music or dance such as classical or ballet is featured. Seek activity that provides an opportunity for sustained, tantric practices while Venus forms a disciplined connection to Uranus.

Moreover, use energy and focus toward problem-solving and working toward solutions for the community in which we belong. Mental focus can help us understand the psychology behind behavior.

Weekend Planetary Energy Report for June 23 – 24, 2018

A lively and upbeat day in store on Saturday when the Sun forms an easy connection to Uranus and the Scorpio Moon meets Jupiter and later makes a fortunate connection to Neptune. Act on impulse or change usual routine. Allow an accelerated tempo carry us.

Intensity continues to be felt though while Mercury’s opposition to Pluto is exact. Probing mind may uncover hidden or private matters. Pat answers won’t suffice now.

The Moon also confronting Mars and Venus will stir the passions within and helps us connect emotionally to what’s real in our lives.

But the current Sun-Moon phase wrapping up a cycle before next week’s Full Moon marks a time where we seek to perfect our technique. Look at a subject from all angles come up with a satisfying conclusion.

An intense undertow weaves it’s way throughout our day as an approaching opposition between Mercury and Pluto grows. We may be obsessed with an idea or concept of beauty that triggers excitement. Adopting a new style or mixing with people different than our regular crew is possible as we seek something fresh and new.

Furthermore, when the Moon moves to Scorpio at 3:10 p.m. ET, our need for depth and texture continues as the tapestry of feelings gets richer. Later, the Moon opposing Uranus adds excitement. Our need to break free from emotional shackles becomes clear.

The Summer Solstice occurs at 6:07 a.m. ET announcing the Sun’s shift into Cancer and the beginning of summer in the Northern Hemisphere. Our sensitivity to our surroundings is heightened and compassion for one another grows.

Passion gains strength as Venus opposes Mars. Dig in and immerse ourselves into something real. Eschew all that’s pre-packaged and processed for visceral sensory experiences.

Moreover, follow our instincts and find our path. The road we may wander onto offers new experiences and eventually we can find something that makes sense.

The Libra Moon confronting Pluto later this evening generates intensity. We are compelled to dive into our emotions fully. A cathartic release may prove helpful.

Get lost in dreams and become fascinated by ideas when Mercury, Neptune and Jupiter make a fortunate connection. Consider travel and explore new or exotic cultures, if not physically, then in our imagination. A progressive and optimistic vibe weaves itself into our day inspiring us to wake up and join the party.

All is not perfection though while the Sun is uncomfortable with Jupiter. A need to grow beyond current boundaries may feel blocked or otherwise stymied. Regardless, look for inspiration through ritual or discipline and see the symbolism behind our actions.

The Moon’s move to Libra at 8:29 a.m. ET, provides an harmonious backdrop for building relationships and balancing intense or unpleasant emotions. Allow an even disposition to color our interactions with one another.

We may feel we are being tested during the current Sun-Moon phase. Focus energy on building what we started under the New Moon. We can decide what’s not working and tear it down to rebuild again if necessary.
