Restless and inspired energy weaves through the day, and a need to feel free and uninhibited colors our approach. The Libra Moon forming an early morning square to Pluto generates compulsive emotional responses, as the first quarter Sun-Moon phase helps us send down roots in order to get projects off the ground.

Nevertheless, the Moon’s easy connection to Mercury encourages us to communicate our thoughts to one another, and importantly, to ourselves. Seek what’s comforting and familiar when the Moon mildly confronts Venus.

By evening the Moon moves to Scorpio and for the next two days we immerse ourselves in a deep and rich tapestry of feelings. Melding with the object of our focus brings satisfaction.

Global concerns are in focus when Mars forms a peace-loving minor connection to Neptune. Devote energy to community-based concerns in order to effect meaningful change.

A cosmically quiet day in store will encourage us to see the world through our personal lens. Use this porthole to clarify our agenda.

Time to think and take action is encouraged when the Libra Moon forms early morning aspects to Mercury and Mars. Set an agenda and get a jump start on work that needs to be complete. Later, when the Moon finds discomfort with Neptune, though, it may be a challenging to find the magic we seek.

Express emotions harmoniously…

Daily Planetary Energy Report for July 17, 2018

The Moon moves to Libra at 3:42 p.m. ET encouraging us to modulate our emotions and feelings in an harmonious manner. Allow beauty and balance to be expressed through our demeanor.

But later when the Moon forms a stressful connection with Uranus our mood gets edgier and a sudden burst of unconventional behavior may be sparked. We may feel buoyed by unstable minor connections between Venus with Jupiter and Pluto. Passion in our pursuit, along with laughter and joy will drive us toward our destination.

A stable minor aspect between Mercury and Neptune deepens our thoughts, though, and attunes our mind to symbolic meanings behind words and actions.

We’re in hot pursuit to clarify an idea or perspective to which we are committed. The ability to understand clearly and unambiguously drives us. And the capacity to study and do our homework in order to communicate clearly is available. We endeavor to fight the good fight and work to serve our community and those around us.

Seeking a real and visceral experience may be harder than it should be, though, while Venus makes a stressful connection to Mars.

But the Virgo Moon in an easy alignment with Jupiter and opposing Neptune connects us with our ideals. We welcome others into our world and look for the best in one another. Moreover, the Sun-Moon phase strengthens us and mobilizes our energy against adversity. We seek a breakthrough and will leave our comfort zone in order to welcome something new.

Weekend Planetary Energy Report for July 14 – 15, 2018

Venus in a fortunate alignment with Saturn encourages us to seek what’s lasting in love and beauty. Good taste and refined aesthetic leanings are emphasized over flash and cheap imitations. Venus also forming a stressful connection to Pluto drives us to the object of our desire. Ardent pursuit may be overdone, though.

The Leo Moon connecting to six planets in some fashion throughout the day cuts a wide swath of emotional responses. Morning hours bring generous and welcoming feelings when the Moon confronts Jupiter. We further our interest in meeting and learning about one another this evening as the Moon meets Mercury. Later we may want to tie up loose ends while the Moon is uncomfortable with Saturn and Pluto.

The Moon moves to Virgo this afternoon at 1:30 p.m. prompting us to tidy up our surroundings, both physically and emotionally. Use this two-day period to get our house in order, thereby de-cluttering, and possibly releasing, personal energy that may have been blocked.

We attempt to sift through information to come up with a workable solutions when Mercury forms a stressful alignment with Saturn, but it’s possible to try too hard and grind our gears too tightly.

This evening, when the Virgo Moon forms trines to Uranus and Saturn, our answers may appear as a flash of inspiration during a quiet moment.

A freedom-loving energy vibrates through the airwaves as minor connections among the Sun, Mars and Saturn inject creative instability into the cosmos. Our aim is not to impress others, but to hear our own voice and self-direct our steps.

Intensity builds and unresolved matters are brought to the fore when the New Moon – partial Solar Eclipse in Cancer opposes Pluto. The power of the Sun and Moon together, aligning with Pluto, may ignite compulsive behavior or territorial struggles especially related to that which is most personal and insular.

Recognize and resolve issues that may have been forgotten or ignored and now resurface, and use New Moon energy to make an important start in a positive direction if personal factors move us.

With a longer-running, disciplined minor connection between Jupiter and Saturn exact, make plans and work to develop a solid blueprint. We are able to incorporate stability in a structure, so devise plans carefully.

A burst of love, and attraction to what’s beautiful and exciting fills the cosmos when Venus makes a fortunate connection to Uranus. Take a break from the usual routine and find unexpected pleasures that surround us. Additionally, with Venus and Jupiter in a playful alliance, enjoy creativity, fun and games.

Set sights high and work to achieve something big and exciting. Seeking a new horizon will power us forward.

But we won’t stray too far from home when the Moon moves to Cancer at 1:58 p.m. ET. The comforts of a loving and protective shell will help to stabilize our musings. A solid and secure environment with traditional tones will foster growth. Later, when the Moon opposes Saturn we settle further and meditate on our progress.

Projects that were under review or may have stalled get the green light as Jupiter begins its direct motion after being retrograde since early March. The big planet moving forward now will encourage growth and expansion in initiatives that may have languished. Take time to meditate on larger issues.

The Gemini Moon connecting in some fashion to six planets throughout the day generates lots of mental stimulation. Entertain ideas and fanciful musings. Uranus touching off a midpoint connection between Mercury and Pluto encourages experimentation, and the unwillingness to give up. Research ideas and vet them fully before implementation, though. Our ability to harness thoughts is optimized. Catch lightening in a jar.

Mental energy abounds…

Our minds feel stimulated by Mercurial energy when the Moon shifts into Gemini at 12:58 p.m. ET, and Venus moves to Virgo later this evening.

With Mercury as the ruling planet of each sign, our need to connect the dots and think through our emotional needs before we react is likely. We may avoid heavy emotional topics in favor of rational approach. A cerebral mood finds us spending more time in our head than we anticipated. And quiet devotion helps us show by doing rather than acting.

Moreover, Mercury confronting Jupiter generates a broad perspective. We can see the big picture easily now and are better able to frame our thoughts accurately.

The Gemini Moon confronting Venus this afternoon allows us to experience our traditions and find a connection to our cultural values. The current Sun-Moon phase helps us prepare to tie up our current projects and to start again under Thursday’s New Moon.
