The Libra Moon confronts Saturn during very early morning hours helping us meet challenges head on and understanding how we need to proceed to maneuver around certain situations.  Take time for meditation.  Close to noon, though, the Moon mildly challenges Jupiter and forms a fortunate connection to Mars buoying our mood and bringing us up to where we want to be.

We adopt a can-do attitude that helps us work with enthusiasm, even though our idealism is tempered when the Moon is uncomfortable with Neptune. Two sets of midpoint connection among Mercury and Venus between Sun, Venus, Mercury and Jupiter help us advance our cause and present ideas in broad strokes that provide an upbeat and merry influence.  We can easily articulate artistic concepts from a unique point of view.

A New Moon in Libra occurs just before midnight tonight welcoming a new and refreshing balanced approach to our efforts.  Start out on the best foot for the situation and look to see all sides of a story.  Allow our instinct to guide us.

Weekend Planetary Energy Report for October 6 – 7, 2018

Saturday

Efforts to develop systems and structures that support the community are top of mind this weekend while the Sun, Jupiter and Saturn form peaceful minor aspects.  Work to understand how we are part of something bigger than ourselves and build bridges to greater unity.  Take part in efforts to serve.  Volunteer to help one another and further the belief that we are all connected.

The Virgo Moon connecting in both easy and challenging formations to six planets throughout the day offers an opportunity to feel passionately, work diligently and connect with our dreams.  Tie up loose ends before next week’s New Moon, where we can feel satisfied that we’ve done our due diligence and begin with a clean slate.

Continue yesterday’s themes with efforts to help the community develop systems and structures that reinforce how we work together to bring about change.

But on Sunday, we put solid brain power behind our actions, so we can reap even larger rewards.  Work to understand what needs to be done and remove irrelevant information to get to the heart of the matter when Mercury gets involved in minor connections with Mars and Saturn.

We’re working steadily toward a dream and express our need with great emotion, but that dream may be difficult to fulfill when the Sun forms an awkward aspect to Neptune.  We can connect to something real when the Moon gets involved with Jupiter, Mars and Venus, though.  The Moon moving to Libra this evening balances our efforts and modulates our responses.

Venus, the planet of love, beauty and money, begins its retrograde motion this afternoon.  Take time to review our aesthetic criteria or standards.  Powers of attraction may slow for the next month and a half.  Consider a new plan and come up with a revised blueprint.

The last phase of the Sun-Moon cycle before next week’s New Moon prompts us to build bridges from the past to the future.  Re-evaluate our situation and tie up loose ends before we move into new territory.

The Moon’s move to Virgo at 7:19 p.m. ET helps with this process.  Clean up our immediate environment and focus our attention on organizing our surroundings.  A more discerning attitude will bring out the perfectionist in us and help us focus on details.

Fortunate connections between the Moon with Saturn and Uranus emphasizes our need for freedom.  We want to have the emotional flexibility to come and go as we please, yet we’re pulled by the familiarity of the well-beaten path.

Surge of energy welcomes us…

Daily Planetary Energy Report for October 4, 2018

A surge of energy welcomes us first thing this morning and powers us onward when the Leo Moon opposes Mars. An abundance of fuel fills us, and we can get a lot of physical work done.  And when the Moon confronts Venus a few hours later, our senses are also stimulated.  We are motivated to seek the real deal and will not take kindly to substitutions.  Moreover, the Sun forming a mild aspect with the Moon favors personal comfort.  We are likely to feel at ease in our own skin and act accordingly.

But a serious side underlies the overt energy patterns. Venus’ stabilizing minor aspect to Saturn grounds us and helps us search for lasting beauty.  We want to strip away all that is superfluous in love and attraction and get down to basics.  Moreover, while Mercury forms a playful minor connection to Saturn, we can better understand underlying patterns which will help us separate the wheat from the chaff.

Use this energy to be a cheerleader for the community and get the blood circulating for a good cause.  Now may be the perfect time to initiate positive changes.

Daily Planetary Energy Report for October 3, 2018

An open and welcoming mood greets us while the Cancer Moon makes a fortunate connection to Jupiter.  There’s also an element of fun and excitement sparked when midpoint connections between Uranus with the Sun and Jupiter generate hi jinks and a desire to be the life of the party.

But we’re not all fun and games.  The Sun forming a disciplined minor connection to Neptune seeks inspiration through practice.  We will work to connect with a higher level of meaning.  Seek new philosophies that provide an understanding of how the world around us thinks.  We are looking to formulate our individual view and expression of ourselves.

Moreover, the Moon moves to Leo at 5:12 p.m. ET, reinforcing this attitude and connecting our emotions to a better representation of ourselves.  The Moon’s confrontation with Uranus later this evening prompts us to put ourselves out there for the world to see.

Daily Planetary Energy Report for October 2, 2018

We may become transfixed with an idea or fully engrossed in a subject when Mercury confronts Pluto.  Use mental energy to take a deep dive into an area of interest that requires our full attention and commitment.  But watch for a tendency to become so obsessive that we cannot see another person’s point of view.

Our appreciation of thoughts that are beautifully expressed is featured when Mercury forms a minor alignment with Venus.  We may be dazzled by a presentation of opinion that is articulate and well-conceived.   Moreover, the Cancer Moon forming trines with Venus and Neptune bring out our need to believe in a dream and a fantasy of what our lives should be about.

But intensity may rise later this evening when the Moon squares Mercury and opposes Pluto.  A release of emotions may be helpful to clear pent up feelings that need to find a healthy outlet.  Use the current third-quarter Sun-Moon phase to adjust or reorient ourselves to a new situation that we find ourselves in the midst.

Daily Planetary Energy Report for October 1, 2018

We continue to be busy as a bee this morning while the Moon wraps up its stay in Gemini, but the Moon moves to Cancer at 2 p.m. ET, ushering in a calming, insular feeling.  Nesting with those we feel closest to in a priority and we work to keep the home fires burning.  A protective shell shields us from energy that threatens what’s nearest and dearest to our hearts.

Some twists and turns this afternoon may occur when the Moon gets comfortable with Uranus, but we settle by evening into a quiet, contemplative mood when the Moon opposes Saturn.
