Mental energy increases…

We are mentally energized, and our ability understand and learn is emphasized when Mercury confronts Mars.  We’re motivated to speak our mind.

Mercury also forming minor connections to both Jupiter and Uranus generates excitement and ability to grasp ideas quickly.  We see the big picture and will act on our ideas.  And the Aquarius Moon semi-square Mars and Mercury add a futuristic flavor to our thought process.

Raise antennae and be open to mystical or spiritual inspiration when Venus forms a disciplined connection to Neptune.

The Moon to Aquarius this morning encourages a progressive and free-spirited approach. We are better able to see how we fit into a larger societal framework.

Alternately the Moon forming easy sextiles to both Venus and Mars connects us to visceral energy.  We want to be in touch with what’s real.  A synthetic and processed approach to life won’t work for us now.

In addition, a surge of playful energy is introduced, especially in our love life or attraction to beauty when Venus moves to Sagittarius.  Be open to adventure and new experiences.  And now that Uranus is moving in direct motion, we are better able to be in the moment than we were under retrograde conditions.

Weekend Planetary Energy Report for January 5 – 6, 2019

Saturday

The groundwork for thoughtful contemplation is laid when the Moon meets Saturn this afternoon.  Find a solution that feels right.

And the New Moon-Solar Eclipse in Capricorn at 8:28 p.m. ET brings the ability to see objectively and understand the work that needs to be done. Make an important new start and wear the uniform of the role we want to play, one that represents what we need to portray to the world.

But unstable minor connections between the Sun and Mercury with Jupiter and Venus, respectively offer to shake things up.  We welcome mental stimulation and will express ourselves openly.  An enterprising attitude fuels our decisions.  But relations may become testy or not turn out as expected when Venus is uncomfortable with Uranus.

Daily Planetary Energy Report for January 4, 2019

The Sun forming an easy connection to Neptune fuels our dreams. Indulging in the world of fantasy is appealing now.  In addition, the impact of Mercury’s fortunate aspect to Uranus overnight will be felt even stronger today, sparking our thinking and imagination further.  Moreover, the Sagittarius Moon meets Mercury at 12:41 p.m. ET, adding more adventure and optimism to our thinking and approach to communication.  Pursue creative endeavors.

But the mood is revised later this afternoon when the Moon moves to Capricorn at 1:55 p.m. ET, shifting our focus from high-flying ideas to encouraging us to emotionally experience the world objectively.  We may seem somewhat detached now rather than how we felt earlier today yet we’ll enjoy wearing the uniform of the role we want to play.

Furthermore, with Mercury moving into Capricorn tonight, we can anchor new ideas and convey them in a clear, objective manner.  We’re better equipped to present our claims realistically, thereby giving them a greater advantage of being implemented.

Pay attention to sudden insights when a trine between Mercury and Uranus gets closer throughout the day.  Look for fresh solutions to problems and find innovative ways of doing things.  We are better able to think on our feet.  Strong beliefs come to the fore and we may need to vehemently express our point of view.

Moreover, we hear the clarion call and heed its instruction.  Our ideas feel big and buoyant, and we can structure our communication in a well-balanced and harmonious manner.

The Sagittarius Moon meets Jupiter early this morning, forms a stressful connection to Uranus and confronts Neptune generating a strong connection to our dreams and fantasies.  Our adventure may take some twists, but we will continue our forward momentum.  We’re in for the long-haul and seek long-lasting solutions rather than a quick fix.

Some of the heavy mood lifts when the Moon moves to Sagittarius at 3:58 a.m. ET.  We may now feel ready for a party!  See the big picture and broad vistas before us.

We still have our thinking cap on, though, while Mercury touches a midpoint between Jupiter and Saturn.  Plans continue to come together.

In addition, the Moon forms an easy connection to Mars and mildly challenges Pluto encouraging us to work toward our goals without stress, but passionately just the same.

Begin new year with resolve, ambition…

Daily Planetary Energy Report for January 1, 2019

We begin the new year with resolve and ambition.  It’s easier to come to a decision when the Sun meets Saturn.  We’re more aware of the consequences of our actions and will take steps to meet our responsibilities.  Additionally, now that Mars is in Aries, our need to go our own way is strong.

Furthermore, we’re in a period of adjustment in this last phase of the monthly Sun-Moon cycle before Saturday’s New Moon-Solar Eclipse.  Use this time to meditate and consider what we want to discard as we begin the new year. The cosmos reinforces our natural tendency to make resolutions and prepare for something new to emerge.

Work to develop a deeper soul connection to the rhythms of life, especially when the Scorpio Moon meets Venus and forms a friendly connection to Pluto.
