Traditions are in focus when the Taurus Moon opposes Venus. Find added meaning in what’s familiar, both personally and culturally.  Tapping into the holiday feeling may provide comfort. But we’re looking for perfection during this current Sun-Moon phase.  A need to understand and ask why lingers in the back of our mind and may color our experience.

Regardless, a minor connection between the Sun and Pluto gives us a sense of mission or destiny.  And a new structure to frame our thinking may work to our benefit.  Focus on research to determine our best outcome while Mercury and Mars form minor connections to Saturn.

This evening the Moon in easy aspect to both Pluto and Mars put us in a dynamic mood and helps us express our feelings with deep emotion.

We may feel more emotional than usual while the Moon connects to six planets throughout the day forming both easy and challenging aspects.  Excitable energy sparks outbursts when the Moon meets Uranus and mildly challenges Neptune.  Getting lost in a fantasy fueled by unstable forces is possible.  But a steadying influence is introduced when the Moon moves to solid Taurus at 4:37 a.m. ET.  We are pulled back from the brink of uncertainty and set on solid ground once again.

This afternoon, though, effective communication is questionable when the Moon experiences some discomfort with Mercury, Mars and Jupiter.  Big talk and ideas are out there, but the forceful nature of the energy flow indicates our communiques could be met with resistance or fall flat.

Take time in quiet meditation to consider our day when the Moon forms a fortunate aspect to Saturn later tonight.

Ambition abounds when Mars forms an easy connection to Pluto.  We may consider making changes to our goals or commit to a new or more meaningful purpose.  We’re working hard now, so getting clear on our goal will bring satisfaction.

Mercury also mildly confronting Pluto fully engrosses us in an idea.  Our strong beliefs come out and personal conviction is renewed.  See a situation from a new point of view and gain a refreshed perspective with Mercury and Uranus in a creative minor aspect.

Furthermore, the Aries Moon confronting Pluto bring out intense emotion and infuses us with passion.  We have the energy to move our agenda forward.

Weekend Planetary Energy Report for December 15 – 16, 2018

The Moon blasts into Aries this evening at 7:44 p.m. ET driving us forward.  We are itching to power on, as we accelerate into a fresh new trip around the zodiac.  A pioneering attitude takes us into new territory.  And this morning’s first quarter Sun-Moon phase anchors our plans.  Concentrate and focus energy and allow the burgeoning roots of our agenda

to take hold.

A convincing minor connection between Mars and Uranus stirs us into action.  Be an activist for positive change.  Moreover, the Sun and Neptune also forming a loving aspect encourages us to share our dreams and vision with our community.

Above all, seek illumination for ideas when Uranus mildly confronts Neptune. A disconnection from material concerns is helpful unless it goes too far.

A tenderhearted and sympathetic approach influences our choices when the Moon moves to Pisces at 7:40 a.m. ET.  Use imagination and allow idealism and artistic vision to color our world.  But the Moon also connecting to five planets throughout the day brings surprises.  Communication and an interest in others are featured during early morning hours.  Intensity builds by evening and making a big splash is highlighted later when the Moon confronts Jupiter.

Mercury now in direct motion enters Sagittarius again this evening encouraging us to raise our awareness and see the broad vista ahead of us.  Big ideas are back in vogue, and plans are coming together once again.  And with Mercury and Venus forming a minor connection we can find an intelligent outlet for our energy.  See well-balanced symmetry in ideas.

Moreover, we’re comfortable in our own skin when the Sun and Aquarius Moon form an easy sextile during early morning hours. Being more at ease with ourselves can translate into comfort with one another.

Later this evening the Moon mildly confronts Saturn prompting us to look within and reflect on our current situation.

We want to get into the natural rhythm of life and living while Mercury forms a loving connection to Saturn. We can facilitate peace and unity and find a non-confrontational way to succeed, as we take on difficult tasks to achieve our goals.  But Mercury uncomfortable with Uranus may generate surprising twists and turns in conversation.

The Sun and Moon form the first mildly hard connection after the New Moon though, offering a time to use our struggle to break through to a new level.  The Aquarius Moon confronting Venus and forming an easy aspect to Jupiter encourages us to connect to tradition and enjoy big emotional responses making our efforts seem less onerous.

Lively early morning energy is possible when the Moon forms a fortunate connection to Uranus.  Surprising emotional responses may be in store.  But a couple hours later the Moon moves to Capricorn at 7:01 a.m. ET settling and focusing our energy.  We feel comfortable wearing the uniform of the role we want to play.  It’s easier now to put a strategic plan in place and execute it in a

mature and business-like manner.

Additionally, we become more aware of the consequences of our actions and act accordingly when the Sun forms a minor connection to Saturn.

The New Moon in Sagittarius at 2:20 a.m. ET encourages a fresh in a new direction.  Allow a broad vision to guide our steps.  We prefer to see the big picture and allow the details to work themselves out.  But remember that we may also need to read the fine print.

Furthermore, a meeting between Mars and Neptune prompts us to expend our energy toward reaching our ideals.  We are convinced that our activities must work toward something larger.  A need to follow a dream drives us.  Mars also mildly confronting Uranus builds tension and an urgency to make things happen.  We may become impatient to get to the heart of the matter.

We also may have difficulty following a prescribed path.  We have our own ideas about what makes something beautiful and appealing, and we will look for originality and dynamism to make our choices.
