The Taurus Moon connects to six planets throughout the day generating a steady stream of emotional responses that build on large-scale themes set early this morning.  The tone for a big and welcoming mood is set when the Moon opposes Jupiter in the wee hours.  Enjoy emotional pursuits that involve others as we bring them into our world.

Moreover, we’re able to effectively express what we’re feeling and bring about the tone we are looking for.  Later in the day, when the Moon confronts Mercury, we become more interested in listening to the stories of one another than talking about ourselves.  Our interest lies in digging deep beneath the surface to understand the psychological underpinnings of others.

The Moon moves to Gemini at 4:01 a.m. ET, lightening the mood and helping us connect the dots to understanding.  Like a cosmic bumble bee, our curiosity leads us from one topic to the next as we work to gather the information we need to make sense of one or more situations.

In addition, the last quarter Sun-Moon position prompts us to begin to wrap up operations of the last couple weeks.  We’re starting to see that it might be time to leave the party and reorient ourselves to something new.

So make plans and map out our route while the Sun and Venus form minor connections to both Jupiter and Saturn.  A sobering approach to our understanding emerges, and we work to get to the bottom of a matter.  Pay attention to sudden flashes of insight.

Our need for freedom swells once again on this last day of August when the Taurus Moon meets Uranus and makes a fortunate connection to Saturn.  We’re emotionally invested in our options and will lean toward subjective choices that fulfill our desire to shake loose the shackles that bind us.

Moreover, the Sun and Moon also comfortable together will help the flow of events run smoother.  Take advantage of an easy camaraderie with one another.  The Sun’s mild confrontation with Venus emphasizes a need to find a higher level of perfection in beauty and love.

Nevertheless, our drive to seek individual expression is strong, and our love of learning will awaken our curiosity. Find new ways of thinking and putting the pieces of the puzzle together.  Use our unique point of view to see an array of selections before us.

Engage our senses…

Daily Planetary Energy Report for August 30, 2018

We are inclined to think about the deeper meaning of life while Mercury forms a disciplined minor connection to Neptune.  We look for significance in symbols or mystical subjects and use these as signposts to guide our steps.  Moreover, the Moon’s fortunate connection to Mercury attunes us to one another and helps us more easily assign accurate meaning to actions.

The Moon opposing Venus and later confronting Mars brings out a visceral reaction.  Our senses are engaged, and we fully immerse ourselves in the subject at hand.  And with the Moon moving into Taurus at 9:30 p.m. ET, we find it even more important to engage our senses and to step away from the sidelines and enjoy life and living first hand.

Furthermore, the current Sun-Moon phase encourages us to spread the word and tell our story to those who will listen.  Conveying awareness of a situation becomes a focal point.

Although we want to delve deep into subject matter, there may be some question as to whether we can find the answers we are looking for while Mercury is uncomfortable with Pluto.  We hold our opinions in high regard and its likely we dismiss divergent views too readily and without review.

This evening when the Aries Moon finds itself in the same awkward position, but with Jupiter, we may give in and recognize there are other voices out there that add something to the conversation.

Once we decide to put ourselves in the shoes of another, our ability to understand the psychology behind actions is heightened and we are better able to resolve disputes.  There’s something fresh and innocent about our turn of mind and we may be able to smooth ruffled feathers easily.

The Moon shifts to Aries at 12:35 p.m., ET marking a new circuit around the zodiac, and a pioneering approach to tasks.  Now that Mars is in direct motion the energy is available to jump start projects that may have stalled, and to engage personal energy into what needs to be accomplished.

We may be light on details, though, while Mercury confronts Jupiter.  We can see the big picture clearly, but the finer points may be fuzzy. Use this time to take in the landscape and the broad vistas.  And look for philosophical guidance to answer big picture questions.

But while Venus forms a playful minor connection to Saturn, we can see underlying themes emerging.  Work on the framework of a project and add the details later.

Put energy behind actions…

Mars moves direct today and we’re ready to put energy behind our actions.  Furthermore, Mars forming a playful minor connection to Jupiter encourages us to enjoy enterprising pursuits. We are looking for alternate ways to get to where we want to go.  Not only are we encouraged to stretch our imagination with regard to our methods, we will enjoy the creative process, and feed on it.  We’re looking for ways to work smarter rather than harder.

Moreover, the Pisces Moon meeting Neptune brings our dreams and hopes into focus.  And the Moon forming a fortunate trine to Jupiter opens our minds and hearts to diversity and what’s new and different in the world.

But with the Sun forming an uncomfortable aspect to Pluto, we may be trying too hard and become frustrated if results are not what we want.

An absence of other strong cosmic connections on Saturday brings the energy of a fortunate grand trine between the Sun, Saturn and Uranus to the fore.  Refreshing imagery of roaming free and enjoying earthy meadows and valleys colors our day.  Release ourselves from restrictive circumstances and experiment with new methods and entertain possibilities.

An active day in store on Sunday as the Moon moves to Pisces energizing our desire to collect the flotsam and jetsam of our world and form it into a beautiful work of art.  Allow our impressions to guide our steps and give ourselves room to daydream.  Events are culminating now as the Pisces Full Moon occurs at 7:56 a.m. ET, so the time may be right to wrap up loose ends.

Strong compulsions drive us, though, as Venus confronts Pluto and the Moon winds its way through meetings with four planets.  And intense emotional components build and effect our interactions with others and within ourselves.

Moreover, Mercury forming minor connections with Pluto, Mars, Uranus and Neptune puts our mind and communication strategy into overdrive.  Our restless mental framework may be unwilling to give up on an idea, most likely because we think we’re right.

We’re itching to break free…

We’re itching to break free and self-direct our journey while a fortunate connection between the Sun, Saturn and Uranus grows stronger.  A need to be responsible, yet have fun while accomplishing something meaningful is important, especially while all three are in stable Earth signs.  Enjoy the feeling of branching out, yet being rooted in something solid.

The Aquarius Moon’s opposition to Mercury bolsters our interest in one another and learning about motives and psychology behind actions.  In addition, a confrontation between the Moon and Jupiter helps us welcome others into our fold, and appreciate the differences we each bring to the table.

A push and pull between stability and responsibility, and being fun-loving and carefree is possible, but the easy flow will help us sort out our conflict with a positive outcome.

The Sun in its first full day in Virgo encourages us to study life and make improvements where necessary.  A careful, efficient manner works well for us now.  The Moon also changes signs today, moving into Aquarius for a two-day stay, offering us a detached point of view.  We are able to understand our place in a larger ecosystem and how we contribute to the big picture.

The Moon’s meeting with Mars this morning energizes us and drives us.  We can take off the gloves and enjoy the battles of life.  Moreover, the Moon’s confrontation with Uranus this evening generates sparks and a need to feel unrestricted.  We may decide to stir the pot just for the fun of it.

Minor connections between Venus with Mars and Uranus help us recognize bonds based on common ground, which may turn into something off-beat and liberating.  These feelings build as a freedom loving grand trine connecting the Sun, Saturn and Uranus strengthen toward the weekend.

Daily Planetary Energy Report for August 22, 2018

As the Sun begins its last day in Leo, we feel ourselves tying up loose ends preparing for a month-long stay in Virgo and getting ready to transition into Fall.  A desire to organize our immediate surroundings and get our lives in order becomes a priority.  Supporting this theme, the current Sun-Moon phase offers a time to perfect techniques and create a sense of purpose.

But a restless undertone rumbles beneath the surface. We seem to be searching to fulfill an unusual dream that drives us.  Our vision may be skewed or in an unfamiliar package while Venus is uncomfortable with Neptune.

Nevertheless, the Capricorn Moon will help to ground us.  As the Moon confronts Venus we connect to our traditions and what’s familiar.  Moreover, the Moon in an easy alignment to Neptune and Jupiter welcomes those who are different than us into our world. The intensity builds this afternoon when the Moon meets Pluto and we instinctively emote our feelings.  Find the catharsis we need as we dispel pent up emotions.
