We may be feeling more emotional than usual while the Cancer Moon connects to six planets throughout the course of the day.

An early morning opposition to Saturn prompts us to seek solitude. Reflect on the past and consider future steps. The Moon’s alignment to Venus, and later, Neptune signals a time to lose ourselves in dreams and a romantic vision of our future.

But later into the evening we have a burst of energy and a desire to accomplish much, or blow off some steam when the Moon opposes Mars and Pluto and makes a fortunate connection to Jupiter. Enjoy active involvement in events, and work or play with heart and soul.

A fresh and youthful energy is generated by the Cancer Moon’s easy connection to Venus and confrontation with Uranus this morning. The Moon moving to Leo at 1:09 p.m. ET, compounds the enthusiasm encouraging a party feeling.

There is a serious side to our Sunday, though, when a disciplined connection is formed between the Sun and Mars. Apply increased stamina to projects that have lingered or in the past have seemed too tedious to tackle.

Moreover, the first quarter Sun-Moon connection anchors our life force and digs in our heels. Concentrate energy on growth and ways to increase our presence now.

Slow moving Pluto begins it’s retrograde motion and continues in this state until the end of September. Look for compulsive behavior or intense feeling to revisit recent places, with similar reactions. Try to understand the source of the matter in order to resolve issues. We will pass the same ground when Pluto goes direct again.
