The Moon moves to Gemini at 2:53 a.m. ET, fanning our need to communicate rationally in order to bridge understanding. And for most of the day the fleet-footed messenger Mercury, comfortable in his own sign, helps us connect the dots.
But later, when Mercury moves to Cancer, our communiques may feel more sentimental and subjective. Thinking based on feeling and intuition may take precedence over logic. Empathy over rational thinking may become a leading factor in decision making.
Nevertheless, we’re inclined to deeper thinking now that Mercury is involved in minor connections to Jupiter, Neptune and Pluto. We may see the world from a broad perspective and search out signs and symbols to guide us. How customs are developed and sustain is of particular interest.
But watch for impatience to get big-picture results when Mars touches off a mid-point connection between Jupiter and Uranus.
