Our heart and head may move in opposing directions…

Daily Planetary Energy Report for July 8, 2020

We may feel as if our heart and head are moving in opposing directions today.  We start the day with strong opinions and possibly aggressive mental energy when retrograde Mercury confronts Mars. Pushing our agenda takes on added importance and we will not shy away from a heated debate.  Rather than verbally spar, though, use increased mental capacity to study and research new avenues, especially related to projects we’ve already begun.

But our mood shifts by afternoon when the Moon moves to gentle Pisces at 2:12 p.m. ET, and we begin to see the importance of collecting the disparate pieces of life that surround us and weave them into a collage of meaning that incorporates all views and ideas.

Communicate and understand clearly…

Daily Planetary Energy Report for May 11, 2020

We are driven to communicate and work to understand clearly when Mercury confronts Mars. Nevertheless, our words may come out more forcefully than intended, so make sure we modulate our message where needed. The Capricorn Moon also gets mixed up with Mercury and Mars, so an added emotional element may play out if we’re not mindful.

But the Sun and Moon in a fortunate trine later this evening helps us feel comfortable in our own skin and able to smooth errant edges.  And with Mercury moving into its own sign of Gemini, even though the pace of the message may accelerate, we can work through the rough spots if we take the time to pace ourselves and connect the dots.

And with Saturn now in its apparent retrograde motion, we will want to review our responsibilities and decide over the new four months which are worth keeping and which we can let go.

Mental energy increases…

Daily Planetary Energy Report for January 8, 2019

We are mentally energized, and our ability understand and learn is emphasized when Mercury confronts Mars.  We’re motivated to speak our mind.

Mercury also forming minor connections to both Jupiter and Uranus generates excitement and ability to grasp ideas quickly.  We see the big picture and will act on our ideas.  And the Aquarius Moon semi-square Mars and Mercury add a futuristic flavor to our thought process.

Raise antennae and be open to mystical or spiritual inspiration when Venus forms a disciplined connection to Neptune.

Enthusiasm, optimism increases…

Daily Planetary Energy Report for November 26, 2018

We’re feeling expansive and enthusiastic, and more optimistic now when the Sun meets Jupiter.  Get out and meet people.  Take advantage of opportunities that present themselves.  And now that Neptune is in apparent direct motion, our hopes and visions may become clearer to us and gain traction once again.

In addition, the Sun mildly challenging Pluto gives us a sense of mission or purpose.  We’re driven toward our goals as if we are on the road to fulfilling our personal destiny.  Moreover, we won’t want to follow the beaten path when the Sun forms an erratic minor connection to Saturn.  Our will is strong, and we want to go our own way.

Mercury confronting Mars drives us to understand clearly.  Our curiosity is piqued, and our love of learning is highlighted.  In addition, Mercury forming minor connections to Neptune and Uranus sends us on an imaginative journey where we explore new ideas freely and entertain possibilities.

The current Sun-Moon phase feeds our need to communicate.  Share information and news to a large audience and shed light on topics that need to be explained.  And with the Cancer Moon opposing Pluto our passions are ignited, and we’re fully engaged in our message.

Rhythmic tone set; sparks generated…

Weekend Planetary Energy Report for May 12 – 13, 2018

Saturday

A deeper and rhythmic tone is set on Saturday when Venus forms a stressful connection to Pluto. Compulsive tenancies with regard to our interest in love, romance or money are triggered. Furthermore, minor connections between Venus with Uranus and Saturn fan our need for tantric practice or approaches, and gravitation to that which is unusual.

Mercury facing off with Mars encourages us to learn new things, or research new ideas. We may become engrossed in ideas or points of view that are off the radar while Mercury connects to Pluto in a minor aspect and nears a meeting with Uranus.

The Sun also involved on a supernatural level with Neptune, generates unusual inspirations and dreams.

Sparks are generated on Sunday when Mercury and the Moon meet Uranus, and Mercury’s confrontation with Mars can still be felt. Quick responses and fast connecting ideas are likely, but under certain circumstances, this combination may lay the groundwork for flying off the handle and arguments. Alternately, the planetary patterns could suggest witty repartee and new ideas that come to us in a flash.

Find a creative outlet for energy, especially prompted by a playful minor aspect between Venus and Mars. Apply energy to new artistic design or works.

The Moon moves to earthy Taurus and confronts Mars midday, so the ability to devote energy to projects seems effortless. A mild confrontation with Neptune later in the day may prompt us to get lost in our dreams and idealized version of reality.

Feel lighter, less burdened…

Daily Planetary Energy Report for April 4, 2018

A disciplined energy system remains in place as retrograde Mercury confronts Mars and Saturn. Our thinking is streamlined and succinct, and we are driven to work and understand topics that are hard to master. Take time alone to regroup and focus. We can hone our process to focus on the precise issue at hand and make strides to rectify or near a satisfying conclusion.

One sign of relief and adherence to a strict energy flow is the Moon’s move to Sagittarius at 2:55 a.m. ET. We can feel lighter and a bit less burdened by the tasks at hand.

Afternoon and evening hours generate some intensity, though, as the Moon mildly challenges Pluto and makes an awkward connection to Venus.

Nevertheless, the Moon position will help us see the light at the end of the tunnel. Moreover, the Sun–Moon phase prompts us to look for ways to give back. Share and communicate information that we think others would benefit from hearing.

Furthermore, a minor connection between Venus and Jupiter adds a lively tone that encourages us to laugh in the face of our burden.
