The Sun moves to Aries at 11:33 a.m. ET, marking the Spring Equinox in North America. As we dive headlong into a new season, we start a new cycle as our cosmic identity leads us in pioneering new directions. Shortly after, the Moon moves to Scorpio at 11:44 a.m. ET, encouraging us to take a deep emotional dive into our feelings. Welcome this new chapter in our solar cycle with added intensity to embrace the tapestry of life and living, especially on the heels of the Moon’s confrontation with Pluto, adding to the passion.

Concomitantly, Venus and Neptune forming a lovely novile generates idealism and romantic notions for a beautiful world. Use this dimensional quality to move in a loving new direction, but watch for deception as we look through the lens of idealism.

A significant day is in store as the Sun moves to Aries at 5:58 p.m. ET marking the Spring Equinox in the Northern Hemisphere, and a new cycle begins. The Moon also makes a move, entering Libra at 9:28 p.m. and shortly after the Full Moon occurs at 9:42 p.m. encouraging us to tie up emotional loose ends to move forward robustly. Embrace the new phase and our new astrological year with high energy and vitality.

Moreover, Mars making a fortunate connection to Pluto helps us focus and pursue what we really want in our new year. In order to achieve something significant we may need to surrender or eliminate something else from our life, perhaps an attitude or baggage that is holding us back. We have the energy to make improvements in our life, so consider taking action now. We’ve already laid the groundwork this morning to emotionally invest in big plans when the Moon is sextile to Pluto and squares Jupiter. Put feeling into our desires and expect them to materialize.

In addition, our thinking is clear and we’re better able to concentrate on work that requires patience to detail when Mercury is sextile Saturn. Learn something practical or organize files. A focus on work is featured. But also pay attention to sudden flashes of insight that come to us.

The Sun moves to Aries at 12:15 p.m. ET, marking the start of spring in the northern hemisphere. Move forth with gusto into the season, which begins the Sun’s new trip around the zodiac.

An approaching confrontation between the Sun and Mars emboldens our efforts. Use the energy to dive head first into the future and to accomplish something tangible.

Additionally, Mercury and Venus continue their tango, encouraging our interest in conveying beautifully constructed messages. Venus also involved with Neptune in an unstable connection encourages us to indulge in romantic musings.

This afternoon, though, the Taurus Moon makes a fortunate aspect to Saturn focusing our attention as we seek to find true meaning behind our actions.
